AAFT Signs MoU with SONY Japan to Strengthen Indo–Japan Film and Cultural Collaboration. Noida / Tokyo, September 2025: AAFT has taken yet another major step in expanding international cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SONY Japan, under the banner of the Indo–Japan Film and Cultural Forum. The MoU was formalized in the presence of Mr. Shohei Tada, Director, SONY Japan, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and Chairperson of the Forum.
This collaboration will open new opportunities for students and professionals in the creative fields, with initiatives including: Specialized photography workshops led by SONY experts, Interactive sessions with renowned international photographers, Photography competitions designed to promote young talent and creative excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shohei Tada expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating: “SONY Japan is delighted to collaborate with AAFT. We believe this initiative will not only benefit budding photographers in India but also foster stronger cultural exchange between India and Japan.”
Welcoming the partnership, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said: “This MoU is a landmark step in strengthening Indo–Japan relations through art, culture, and education. With SONY’s global expertise and AAFT’s educational platform, we aim to inspire the next generation of photographers and visual storytellers.”
