Noida, December 23, 2024 \u2013 The 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) hosted a compelling seminar titled \u201cHow Can Theatrical Cinema Coexist with OTT\u201d at Marwah Film City. The discussion brought together industry experts and artists to explore the evolving dynamics between traditional cinema and Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms.<\/p>\n
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media & Arts, initiated the seminar by emphasizing the inevitability of change in the entertainment industry. He stated, \u201cThe only constant is change. It\u2019s essential to adapt, and this is evident in the entertainment industry, especially cinema. With the same actors, directors, and technicians, we\u2019re producing feature films for theatres and OTT platforms. The difference has essentially been reduced to zero. A film is a film, viewable in various formats.\u201d<\/p>\n
