124th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Inaugurated by Filmmaker Muzaffar Ali at Marwah Studios. Noida, July 24, 2025: In a landmark moment for student cinema and creative education. The 124th edition of the AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film<\/a> City Noida. The prestigious event graced by an illustrious panel of guests including renowned filmmaker Muzaffar Ali. Hence filmmaker<\/a> Nabarun Banerjee, veteran director Ashok Tyagi, BJP leader and former Election Commission Director Mohd. Amin, and celebrated aesthetician Vikkie Anand.<\/p>\n

The festival stands as a testament to the commitment of the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) in promoting young talent in cinema. Hence Addressing the audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and founder of the festival, remarked. \u201cToday, we break our own record. This is the only film festival in the world held four times a year, now proudly in its 124th edition. Over the years. We\u2019ve provided a golden platform for over 3600 young directors to showcase their debut films. It\u2019s a celebration of creativity, courage, and storytelling.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The first day of the festival showcased eight compelling short films and music videos, including. The Final Justice<\/em>\u00a0by Vishal Malhotra,\u00a0Nurture<\/em>\u00a0by Aviral Singh,\u00a0The Orientation<\/em> by Arjun Deb. Such as Udd Raha Hoon Main<\/em>\u00a0by Vishal Malhotra,\u00a0Beedijaliyle<\/em>\u00a0by Sanjay,\u00a0Abhimanyu<\/em>\u00a0by Nimesh Negi and several more thought-provoking works by emerging filmmakers.<\/p>\n

Muzaffar Ali, known for his timeless cinematic masterpieces, shared his thoughts:\u00a0\u201cPlatforms like this are rare and essential. AAFT is doing a phenomenal job nurturing talent and giving voice to the next generation of storytellers.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Mohd.
